6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SummerSlam 2020

3. Crews Has A Match

Hey kids, Apollo Crews wrestled Sunday night! Against MVP again. And he won again. And he had to flee Bobby Lashley again.

As with a lot of the feuds going on in WWE these days, Apollo Crews versus the Hurt Business feels like it has been going on forever, so even though Crews defended his United States Championship by cleanly and decisively defeating MVP during the SummerSlam kickoff show, seeing Lashley try to attack him afterward reminded you that this rivalry must continue.

The match was boring, a basic Raw match with no real flow or ability to get invested as a fan, which makes it even worse.

At this point, just put the US title on Lashley at Payback. At least Bobby is being booked as a dominant superstar, while everyone else in this rivalry looks like a goof.
