6 Ups & 7 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 17)
5. The Band Is Back
As the Knockouts Champion, Taya Valkyrie isn't exactly the most popular star in the locker room, however, she sure does come with a plan in mind when asking for assistance.
'Wera Loca' approached on-again, off-again frenemies Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan backstage, requesting their help in helping her as she now has to contend with the combined force of Jordynne Grace, ODB, and Tenille Dashwood. Rayne and Hogan would agree, on one condition: they both receive a title opportunity should Taya still be the champ following Hard To Kill, something that the champ was reluctant to accept.
If she needed help with anything, why would Valkyrie ask these two?
For starters, depending on what day it is, they're not even on the same page as each other, let alone anyone else. Secondly, the trio have actually teamed up before in recent Impact history, losing to Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, and Alexia Nicole at the end of October. The group didn't exactly have the greatest bond in the world with each other, plus that's how the whole problem started in the first place as Grace pinned Valkyrie that night to earn her championship opportunity.
Unless the three women can work as a cohesive unit this time around, it's entirely possible that Taya could find herself with both 'The Queen Bee' and 'The Girl On Fire' also coming for her title.
