5. Interference Galore

WrestleMania is supposed to be WWE’s season finale, the big show where the biggest wrestlers compete, and feuds reach their climax.

But WWE repeatedly fell back on the crutch of interference numerous times throughout the show, which is not a good sign that they believed that the matches could stand up on their own.

Consider: Nikki Bella took out Charlotte Flair with a literal crutch in the women’s tag; Becky Lynch grabbed the referee and used an exposed turnbuckle to beat AJ Lee; Bron Breakker speared Seth Rollins, allowing Gunther to put him to sleep; the Judgment Day repeatedly interfered to help Liv Morgan capture the Women’s World Championship; and Pat McAfee got involved in the main event in a fruitless effort to help Randy Orton.

That’s a ridiculous amount of shenanigans on the biggest show of the year, and that doesn’t exactly suggest that WWE had a lot of confidence in the product on the night.
