6 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 13)

1. Brandon Cutler vs. Peter Avalon

Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon's last singles match ended in a double countout, which is perfect for their story. These dudes literally cannot win, even one-on-one, so what else would you book other than a double countout? A double disqualification, apparently, which is what we got here.

The first match was good. This one, unfortunately, was overbooked to hell. Avalon jumped Cutler during his entrance then got on the microphone, demanding he be declared the winner because his opponent couldn't answer. This happened twice before we got some actual wrestling, broken up by more bullsh*t in the form of Leva Bates preventing Cutler from using his wacky dice as a weapon, until Cutler hit Avalon with a book while the 'Librarian' blasted him with said dice. Boom, double DQ.

Let's get to the inevitable No DQ match. This story is losing its legs thanks to overly staged stuff like this.
