Whenever a champion loses his or her title, it’s always interesting to see how they’re booked in the immediate aftermath.

For Bobby Lashley, his booking showed he clearly isn’t being decelerated at all. Lashley took out five of the six participants in the opening match, leveling everyone (except Xavier Woods), including the WWE Champion Big E and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It was a strong resurgence for the dethroned champ, and it allowed him to immediately make a strong case for a rematch against E.

Say what you will about how dismal Raw has been the last several months overall, but Lashley has been a rare bright spot on the program, and he has finally been booked as the monster he should have been all along.
