6 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 35

6. Yard Days Night

Roman Reigns Drew McIntyre

Roman Reigns received a smattering of boos (!) at points during his drab battle with Drew McIntyre, but the edginess of a section of the audience worried about wrestling silliness were mostly drowned out by the pyro the returning 'Big Dog' received for a WrestleMania match he'd probably ruled out the prior October.

Having only recently returned to action following a leukaemia remission announcement that was comfortably the company's sweetest moment of the year, Reigns the singles star was fresh again following the predictable Shield reunion ahead of Dean Ambrose's impending exit.

McIntyre's troubled 2019 continued here, working only as a warm body for Reigns to bounce his big moves off of, but the entire spectacle was a more a celebration of Roman's good news than anything else of substance.

Those boos really sucked, though.
