6 Ups And 1 Down From Last Night's WWE NXT (June 29)

2. Get Hyped

The match of the evening was a tag team bout pitting The Hype Bros against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Mojo Rawley led The Hype Bros to an early advantage, using his strength to overpower Gargano. He and Ciampa fought back, though, surviving an onslaught and then using teamwork to take the fight back to Rawley and Ryder.

Things really picked up during the final stretch. Both teams pulled out all the stops, with Gargano nailing Rawley with a superkick outside the ring, but Ryder hitting a flying elbow from the top for a near fall. After that, Gargano and Ciampa came together and hit Ryder with a kick/knee combination for the win.

Not only was the match exciting, but the right team went over. Once the American Alpha/Revival feud is done (and given that The Revival are assumed to be on their way up to the main roster, that should be soon), the Tag Team Champions will need new foes, and there's no team better for them than Gargano and Ciampa - especially since they beat The Revival a few weeks ago.
