6 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Fastlane 2016

3. IC Title Bout Rocks The Crowd

For once, the announcers weren€™t using hyperbole when they said that Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler bring out the best in each other. This column has been critical of Dolph beating Owens at a time when KO needed to look strong, but their matches have always been solid. Sunday, they had fans jumping with their Intercontinental Championship.

The two gladiators traded high-impact moves: senton, rapid elbow drops, DDT, fisherman superplex, etc. Probably the most notable part came when Ziggler hit a superkick on Owens on the outside, only for KO to hit his own in the ring, and then Dolph popped up and hit one more on Owens. Fans responded accordingly.
