6 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE TLC 2019

3. Throwing Lucha Bombs

The rematch between Humberto Carrillo and Andrade really was a tale of two matches: before and after Andrade was busted open.

The first half of the contest was slower, with basic moves and some submission holds. But around the midpoint, Andrade came up with blood trickling down his face, and the pace immediately quickened, with Humberto firing off a comeback with a running dropkick, tope to the floor and a missile dropkick. Andrade hit a stomp off the ringpost to Carrillo, and things went fast and furious with the two wrestlers trading strikes, with some callbacks to their earlier bout.

In the end, Humberto nailed an inverted avalanche hurricanrana and a moonsault for his second upset win in a week. Hopefully this means he’s getting a push after his disappointing mini-feud with AJ Styles and isn’t merely being used as a vehicle for breaking up Andrade and Zelina Vega.
