You can almost always count on New Day to bring their A-game to a specialty match, and a tag title ladder match was right up their alley.

Kofi Kingston and Big E toppled the Revival in a solid PPV opener, with E really turning in a great performance, both in dishing out and taking punishment. The Revival were their usual rock-solid duo, using tandem tactics to come close on multiple occasions to winning the tag titles for a fourth time.

However, the highlights belonged to Kofi, who jumped off a tipped-over ladder, landed on the top rope and sprung back with a tornado DDT, then followed that with a Trouble in Paradise. He later hit a springboard to the ladder to prevent the Revival from winning the match, then retrieved the titles himself to retain.

Not a bad start to the night at all.
