After weeks of wars between some of the finest pairs WWE has to offer, the latest episode of NXT saw us officially confirm the finalists for the men's and women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Opening the show, we had black and gold rookies MSK battling against the dominant force of Legado del Fantasma. Early on, Joaquin Wilde and Wes Lee found themselves jockeying for position on the ground, with the former perhaps getting a little too carried away when in the driver's seat. Sensing they couldn't risk allowing the electric former Rascalz to pick up any momentum, Legado immediately cut Lee off from partner Dash Carter post-kicking frenzy.

This isolation couldn't last forever, however, with MSK eventually finding their way back into the match via insane Hot Fire Flame off the goddamn apron! Seriously, that move will never not be utter madness. Even a stunning two-for-one 450 splash from Wilde couldn't kill this team's fire, though, as MSK ultimately sealed their place in the final of the Dusty Cup with a running blockbuster in the middle of the ring.

This was absolutely the right call as giving MSK the immediate rub upon entering this stacked tag team division only helps build yet another credible unit on the brand. Will they go on to win the whole thing at Sunday's TakeOver: Vengeance Day? It'd make for a hell of a story...
