6 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Vengeance Day (Feb 15)
1. Gunther Continues To Divide, Solo Picks Wrong Man
WWE.comOnce again highlighting just how idiotic a move it was to questionably rename one of your only real star attractions, WA- sorry, Gunther took to the ring last night in the wake of The Creed Brothers' victory and Imperium proceeded to congratulate them for their efforts.
The usual cries of "WALTER!" rained down on the longest reigning NXT UK Champion in history, and the aura of this once formidable Ring General once more seemed to take an odd hit thanks to the all-round uncomfortable hilarity of the scenario.
Solo SIkoa then making it known that he wanted Gunther before the big lad could get a sniff of NXT title gold was also a strange development. As was the Uso threatening to beat up the Imperium leader before wandering off with his tail between his legs the minute that looked like a possibility. Can Solo realistically topple the Ring General on his Todd? Probably not, and it'd be safe to assume some Uso assistance could be pending. But it's hard to see how this helps elevate Gunther above the cries of his former title.
