6 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Vengeance Day (Feb 15)
Downs...
2. Unlikeable Men Talk Love
With this being a show seemingly centred around the most romantic day of the year, it was pretty much inevitable that NXT would find a way to shoehorn some lovey dovey b*ll*cks into the mix before long. And sure enough, on the back of confirming a solo date with Kayden Carter for Valentine's Day, Brooks Jensen returned to his natural habitat to dissect the evening with pal Josh Briggs.
And the end results were about as mind-numbing as you'd imagine.
Between barking at the poor bartender trying her best to help offer the perspective of the superior sex, to Jensen spitting his dummy out at the thought of being "friend zoned", none of this clicked and it's hard to see who this actually was for?
Are we supposed to empathise with the giant man babies who seem more focused on chatting up their colleagues than trying to win tag gold? If so, then having them embroiled in a never-ending spell of dating escapades is surely not the way to achieve that goal. So the sooner these lovesick fools get their sh*t together, the better.
