6 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Vengeance Day (Feb 15)

4. It Wasn't Alright On The Knight For Waller

Some two weeks removed from getting sneak attacked by Grayson Waller in his bout with Joe Gacy and subsequently besting the loudmouth Australian's insurance policy, Sanga, on last week's show, LA Knight was in no mood to mess around as he stormed to the CWC's ring at Vengeance Day. Not even the fact that Waller had enlisted some police officers to cart Knight off and throw away the key after he put his hands on his rival last week could deter the former Eli Drake... and for good reason.

Proving that even babyfaces hold the capacity to use a sliver of intelligence in this new NXT landscape - what a world - Knight would reveal that part of the restraining order Waller had filed for actually stated that the entire thing would be void if the cocky pr*ck put his hands on his sparring parter. And as that's precisely what happened a few weeks ago, cue a defeated Waller getting battered and launched from the ring before the pair's one-on-one blow-off was made official for next week.

Sure, it does feel like this feud has been going on for an age, with the back-and-forth dating all the way back to Halloween Havoc. But Knight and Waller seem to be riding unexpectedly hot face and heel waves as of late, so this could hold the potential to be a rather hot banger in seven days time. Either that or the headlines will be stolen again by a rather hot Sanga...
