Little things can add something big to a segment, and Kurt Angle provided a little extra something to a charged opening segment of Raw.

Angle was preparing to announced his decision for who would face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble PPV when contenders Braun Strowman and Kane walked out, upping the tension dramatically. And then Paul Heyman brought out Lesnar, which put everyone on edge.

The Raw GM wasted little time in announcing a triple threat for the Universal Championship, and then scooted out of the ring before all three tore into each other. Brock would F-5 Kane and stand tall, but it was Angle sensing danger and fleeing just before the three behemoths attacked each other that added a little extra to the drama.
