6. Playing With Fans’ Emotions

Going into the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, LA Knight was the clear fan favorite, even more so in London Saturday. And rather than just rip fans’ hearts out of nowhere, they leaned into it a good bit.

Every time Knight got into the ring, fans lost their minds. And whenever someone hit a move on him, that person immediately became the biggest heel in the match. Never was it more true than when LA started climbing toward the end, and everyone came in one at a time to try to stop the Megastar. Even Brit Butch got booed for thwarting Knight.

The waves of cheers and boos continued until Damian Priest finally ended Knight’s hopes and dreams, but you can’t say that it was obvious who got a major spotlight and hopefully will get a nice push on the other side of MITB.
