4. Elektra Swerves Quinn, Santos Gets The Win
With the stipulation heading into this week's anything but anticipated Santos Escobar vs. Xyon Quinn rematch being revealed as something of a "winner gets the girl" deal, you'd be forgiven for feeling a little nauseous in the early stages of this one.
And perhaps the most frustrating part about all of this was the fact that in this round two between the pair, Quinn showcased arguably his most accomplished in-ring work to date, effectively dominating The Emperor of Lucha Libre early on before selling a prolonged piece of leg isolation as the match drew on.
Unfortunately, though, the headlines were always going to belong to what in the holy hell Elektra Lopez felt like doing as the match progressed. And sure enough, as it looked like the eternal distraction had chosen her man Xyon and passed up on Familia for love, Lopez whacked the dumb*ss in the knackers and left Santos to Phantom Driver him into next week.
What have we actually achieved here? Quinn looks and feels like a fool thoroughly distracted by what's in his red trunks and the whole of Legado just effectively got the upper hand on one solitary newbie who feels about as threatening as 2.0's new colour scheme. File this one under waste of time.
