3. Grayson Waller Lashes Out, MSK Get High?, GYV Trick Their Nan

In another hit-and-miss week of pre-taped vignettes from a show that tends to lean quite heavily on them, perhaps the oddest development to tumble out of the inconsistency was the reveal of what seemed like an attempt at a double turn.

On the back of LA Knight claiming that when he strips away the flashy cars and bling he's still a megastar and determined to claim the top strap, stating that Grayson Waller was simply given the opportunities he earned (though the logic in that argument is flawed from the get-go), the latter opted to take us on an unexpected ride.

Arriving on Lashing Out with Lash Legend in his usual chirpy way, Waller soon delved into a darker part of his character and revealed that "wins and losses" simply don't matter anymore, with the new focus being on social media hits instead. It may have been more subtle to just spray paint "AEW SUCKS" on his chest. But all in all, your writer just left these snippets feeling disdain towards both men, so it's hard to get excited about an eventual round 2.

Oh, and MSK now apparently get high (they fly on a plane, LOL) and babble nonsensically at each other about a Shaman. It's what all the cool kids are doing...

At least watching the Grizzled Young Veterans dupe Zack Gibson's nan into thinking he was a champ to earn more inheritance provided a few laughs, so there's a mini Up in this Down of vignettes. More lying tutorials, please.
