6 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 16)
1. History Repeats Itself
With The Robert Stone Brand being utterly massacred once again in the most recent round of WWE releases, the man behind the faction was on the lookout for some new recruits last night. And while Persia Pirotta undoubtedly came out of her impromptu 2-on-1 battle against Gabby Stephens and Jenny Levy looking strong, a number of question marks hang over this burgeoning tale.
First up, the fact Indi Hartwell quickly dropped her apparent best bud like a sack of spuds to be there for her hubby was a bit of a d*ck move. Yes, she was being a loving wife and all that, but anyone could've been waiting for Pirotta in that ring and she just left her to fend for herself. Not cool.
Secondly, we've seen this Robert Stone BS play-out so many times now that it's got to the point where the poor lad is simply playing a parody of himself, doomed to fail from the second he "convinces" someone to come on board. Maybe nudging Stone into a singles comedic relief character going forward is the way to go, allowing him to be pulverised and wiggle out of trouble on a weekly basis. Attaching him to the women on this show doesn't seem to be doing anyone any favours, clearly.
