6 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Oct 19)

1. LA Knight Battles Waller For Hosting Duties

On a night that saw three women fighting over the right to spin a wheel that would decide a match stipulation completely at random, this was still by far the dumbest contest on the card. Instead of battling over the chance to challenge a Champion or even for the honour of calling themselves the better man, LA Knight and Grayson Waller went one-on-one on NXT 2.0... for Halloween Havoc hosting duties.

You have to respect Wade Barrett and Vic Joseph for at least trying to get over how much the role did for Shotzi Blackheart last year, with the green-haired sensation now being branded as a "big star" on SmackDown. Yep, they clearly watch the show as much as AEW fans. But your writer doesn't seem to recall Blackheart having to battle another performer for her right to host the Halloween spectacular, come to think of it.

Sure, Blackheart didn't have another NXT name confessing that they must be the one to dress up like Frankenstein at the event. But even with Waller and Knight both squabbling over who should be the man for the job, it just made both guys seem like utter dorks.

The match itself was OK. Waller again showed he moves like a wrestler who has been doing this for an age, and Knight expertly cut down the babyface hero in his stride for the win. But does anyone really care that Halloween Havoc is now LA Knight's game?
