6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 19)

Downs...

5. Fall Guy Finn

Bobby Lashley Finn Balor

At Survivor Series Sunday night, Finn Balor was the first member of Team Raw eliminated, losing after only a few minutes actually in the match.

Monday night, Balor again was the first man eliminated from his team, pinned after interference and a Claymore kick from Drew McIntyre. Just like that, Balor was a warm body two nights in a row to fill a spot and then get booted from the match.

Someone has to lose these matches and take pinfalls, so it isn’t a criticism that Finn should never be pinned. But having him go down first two nights in a row – when fans are going nuts for him – can’t just be coincidence, right?

It’s a shame the Intercontinental Championship is tied up with Seth Rollins right now, because he doesn’t need it, but Balor could use it and feud with other upper-midcard wrestlers rather than being the little buddy who gets beat up.
