4. Cena As David

We rarely, if ever, get to see John Cena as the overpowered, outmatched underdog, but that’s basically the role he was thrust into Monday night against Braun Strowman.

Strowman manhandled Cena, seemingly having an answer for everything the 16-time world champion threw at him. He escaped an Attitude Adjustment and countered a Five-Knuckle Shuffle with a spinebuster. And even thought the match ended in a DQ, it didn’t come about because Braun was losing and grew frustrated. He pretty much decided that he wanted to abuse Cena more and brought the steel steps into the match.

That’s a notable difference, and it just made Strowman look even more dangerous. At the same time, Cena didn’t look like a lost cause, and the match was enough to make you want to see a full bout with a finish between the two.
