When the announcers suggest that fans’ silence to a babyface’s comeback might be part of an elaborate strategy, you’ve got serious problems.

But that’s what Corey Graves tried to sell as Matt Hardy came back on Bray Wyatt during their match. The bout itself, which Hardy won, was decent enough, but there was far more interest in what was going on in the stands (presumably another beachball) than what was happening in the ring.

Even Hardy consistently yelling, “Delete!” couldn’t reel the fans back in. This match already had passed its sell-by date, and it showed by the lack of interest from the outset. Hardy and Wyatt did give it a try with a cute game of hide-and-seek, but it just didn’t work.

Hopefully, this is the end of this feud, or it really, really ramps up in the next couple of weeks. Otherwise, you could see an entire stadium empty out for nachos at WrestleMania.
