6 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (March 6)

5. Logan Paul Embraces Being A Heel

It took Logan Paul long enough to realize that he’s just a natural heel, so he might as well embrace it and lean into the fans’ desire to boo him.

Paul stood face-to-face with Seth Rollins on Raw Monday night to answer for eliminating the Visionary from the Royal Rumble and stomping him at Elimination Chamber. Rollins, however, wanted to make it clear the fans hated Logan because he’s “scum of the Earth” and a coward, troll, fraud and human dumpster fire.

In a rare (for WWE) moment, the fans really made this segment much better than it had any right being, as they incessantly sang Rollins theme over the Miz and Paul, booed the social media maverick mercilessly, and were firmly in Rollins’ corner every time he spoke.

Even the physicality was well-constructed, with Miz getting involved just enough to provide the plausible distraction for Rollins before he got laid out via Logan’s punch. Everything set up the WrestleMania match nicely and firmly established Paul as a despicable heel. Good job.
