Is anyone excited or interested in the upcoming PPV, Roadblock? Aside from the Ironman match for the Raw Women’s Championship, is anyone really looking forward to any of the other matches?

Sami Zayn versus Braun Strowman. Rusev versus Big Cass. A triple threat WWE Cruiserweight Championship match between three men who have held the title since September. And of course, Roman Reigns chases after the WWE Universal Championship. None of these matches feel epic or even like they’re really coming to a head on Sunday, just a series of bouts to fill out a card.

This is not to say that Roadblock isn’t going to be entertaining, but it seems clear that, aside from Sasha Banks versus Charlotte Flair, this PPV isn’t about making a strong statement, but about closing out the year with a Raw PPV. It’s a shame, but it doesn’t really feel like anything special. Maybe that’s just cynicism after a long year.
