6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 21)

2. Excessive Celebration

OK, now that was funny.

Last week, this column was negative on the B-Team’s victory only because it looked like they were just hot-potatoing from one team of lovable losers to another. And when Raw had a rematch, you wondered if the dreaded 50/50 was going to rear its ugly head.

But thankfully, it looks like WWE is going to ride the Curtis Axel/Bo Dallas pairing for a bit. And what really sealed it Monday night was their ridiculous celebration after winning: jumping up and down and hugging the referee; bypassing Coach to celebrate with Corey Graves; and riding a chair down the ramp together. It was so over-the-top that you couldn’t help but smile.

This is exactly the sort of thing that makes fans laugh and even get behind a team, if only from an entertainment standpoint. Let’s see if WWE can actually keep this going.
