This positive gets slightly downgraded only because we didn’t get a Seth Rollins Intercontinental Championship open challenge, but that’s really splitting hairs.

Rollins saved his Shield brethren Roman Reigns from a 2-on-1 beatdown, then scored the victory in an impromptu tag match against Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens. Rollins really is operating on a different level right now, as his hot tag section of the match had the fans molten. Even the finish – whiffing on a curbstomp, only to quickly hit it as Owens rolled away – was cleverly done and lent itself to how locked-in Rollins is right now.

The opening hour of Raw really highlighted who the fans are rallying behind and who they want to see in the top spot. As bad as you might feel for KO, at least Rollins is firing on all cylinders.
