3. Who Did KO Piss Off?

Did Kevin Owens cut Vince McMahon off in line in catering? Did he forget to shake someone’s hand backstage?

There’s got to be a reason for KO serving as a human piñata for Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Monday night. Owens’ match against Reigns was downright embarrassing, as Roman shrugged off all of KO’s offense and just pummeled him. Owens didn’t even get to hit any really high-impact moves (think cannonball, fisherman’s buster, frogsplash, senton, etc.), just a superkick and a few punches that Roman ignored.

On top of that, Owens took the pinfall in the tag match after a great recovery from Rollins, but the bigger transgression was the singles bout against Roman. It really was noticeable how little offense he got in during that abbreviated match.

Maybe they’re prepping KO for winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. WWE seems to love jobbing out people right before a big win like that.
