Can someone explain how a mixed tag elimination match works in 2019?

Under WWE’s mixed tag rules, the men face the men, and the women face the women. So when Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins squared off against Andrade & Zelina Vega to open Raw in a mixed tag elimination match, you couldn’t help but wonder how this would practically apply.

Becky made Zelina tap out, but if Andrade defeated Rollins, would that mean that Becky would face off against El Idolo? That would fly in the face of WWE’s rule for these bouts, but if it’s elimination rules, Lynch and Andrade would be the only ones left in the match. Or would it be a draw?

Of course, none of it mattered, as Becky and Seth got a clean sweep, which was the idea here. But there’s no way the match could have worked in reality, which is poor booking.
