2. You Call That A Beating?

After seeing Roman Reigns launched into an ambulance, it was hard to be impressed – or even satisfied – with Goldust’s ambush of R-Truth.

For weeks upon weeks, Goldust has been promising a return of the Golden Age, starting with the destruction of his former tag partner, R-Truth. Monday, they were supposed to have a match, which never got started because Goldust hit a cheapshot on Truth and kicked him a bunch of times, then bashed him into the post once.

End of beatdown.

The announcers sold it as if Truth was headed to a medical facility himself and that Goldust had gone too far. But seriously, that attack barely registered, and after weeks of buildup, that is what we got? Come on. LAME.
