Man, Seth Rollins just can’t win with finishing moves, can he?

Rollins had a killer finisher for a good while in WWE, utilizing the badass Curb Stomp to put his opponents down. But shortly after winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXXI, the Curb Stomp disappeared. It was temporarily replaced with a weird front facelock drop that just didn’t work. Thankfully, that was replaced by the Pedigree, a perfect move for a guy who was Triple H’s protégé.

After defeating Triple H at WrestleMania XXXIII this spring, Rollins stopped using the Pedigree and replaced it with an even worse move than the front facelock drop: a short-arm rising knee. The setup resembles Bad News Barrett’s initial setup for the Bullhammer elbow. It’s a terrible-looking finisher.

We’re not going to get God’s Last Gift as a finisher in WWE, but there’s got to be a better finishing move for Rollins than that. It just needs to go away.
