If the Hardy Boyz can turn back the clock, why can’t Goldust?

After viciously turning on former tag team partner R-Truth last week, Goldust appears to be resetting himself as the Bizarre One, cutting promos as if he’s the director of another Shattered Dreams production. Sure, he’s in his late 40s, but Dustin Rhodes has been a reliable performer for a few years now, and this older version of Goldust has been seen for quite some time. A new generation of wrestling fans could be seeing this for the first time.

Goldust probably isn’t going to win Intercontinental Championship gold again, but this should be a better use of his talents than a JTTS tag team. Now, if only we could find a way to get the paranoid, psychotic R-Truth back…
