6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 22)

1. Heel? Face? Or Just A Goof?

Apollo Crews appeared to turn heel last week when he knocked out Enzo Amore after Titus O’Neil’s loss to Big Cass. It was a welcome development in the sense that Crews has been floundering for quite some time now.

Fast-forward to Raw Monday night, and Crews was chatting amicably with Kalisto, then got stuck in a match with him thanks to Titus. During the bout, O’Neil kept barking instructions, which distracted Apollo enough that he fell victim to the Salida del Sol. And just like that, Crews was left sitting there in the ring with a loss in a nothing match.

And once again, Crews is mired in some do-nothing, go-nowhere storyline, and we don’t even know what the direction is or is supposed to be. Maybe something will suddenly click, but don’t hold your breath.
