Holy hell, apparently the live crowd doesn’t like concerts on WWE programming any more than TV audiences typically do.

Fans mercilessly booed Elias Sampson’s in-ring performance before his debut match against Dean Ambrose, creating off-the-charts heat that you don’t hear all too often. Sure, things died down a lot when the match started, but it was overwhelming how much fans hated the singing (which also was the case down in NXT).

If WWE could figure out how to harness that hatred and carry it over into a match, Sampson could have a decent future as someone like the Miz: a punchable heel fans love to boo and want to see get his.
