6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 14)

1. More Conspiracies From Roman

As long as WWE keeps running with its “Roman Reigns conspiracy theories” angle, then it’s going to be a regular feature in the “downs” column.

Reigns sauntered out to inform everyone that last year, he “got robbed” but not by WWE management, by Jinder Mahal. If you recall, Roman was “robbed” by management because no one told him Brock Lesnar had re-upped his contract before he cleanly and decisively beat Reigns at WrestleMania 34, then no one told the Big Dog that he would face Brock at Greatest Royal Rumble.

Memo to WWE: STOP. Seriously, stop with his stupid running angle. And now they’ve added “screwed by Jinder” to the tally. The whole damn world’s against Roman: WWE management, referees, Jinder, the fans in London… Does this make you want to cheer more for Reigns? No? What if God interferes in his next match? Will that help?

Roman got “over” with fans initially by punching people in the mush and winning matches. Even though many think he’s not “right” for being the top guy, if you want him to fill that role, then do it. Screwing him over isn’t making him more sympathetic to fans – especially when he keeps claiming conspiracies against himself. (Didn’t Christian make a career out of doing that – as a heel?)
