Oh please, let Chris Jericho lose the United States Championship match at Payback this Sunday.

It isn’t because Kevin Owens “should” win or anything like that. It’s because of the possible feud between Jericho and the Miz.

Miz came out to interrupt Jericho during the Highlight Reel and proceeded to “cancel” the talk show and immediately replace it with Miz TV, complete with a set change while they were in the ring. Seeing the two verbally spar (Jericho: “It’s the Jeritron 6000.” Miz “It’s a TV.”) served as a nice appetizer of what could be.

Consider also that Miz’s persona through the years has been somewhat derived from Jericho circa 2008-09 – a suit-wearing, level-talking person who levies criticism right at the fans for not recognizing that he is correct. (Of course Miz adds in the Hollywood persona, but there are elements there.)
