5. Attitude Era Brawl

Aside from the telegraphed ending of the falls count anywhere Intercontinental Championship match, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose had a pretty good little match going that harkened back to the old Attitude Era brawls.

Rollins and Ambrose spent much of the match fighting into the backstage area, trying to pin the other on top of equipment cases and on concrete. They brawled into the stands, used steel chairs, pulled up ringside mats and finally found their way back into the ring.

It wasn’t a five-star classic by any stretch, but it sure wasn’t boring, which was the point. Of course, the ending of Bobby Lashley getting payback from getting attacked last week and during the opening this week was predictable, but that doesn’t make it terrible.

The “everyone loses to someone who lost to someone else” aspect covered in the “downs” column drags this down a peg, but the brawl itself was entertaining enough.
