4. Chaos Out Of The Gate

Raw getting away from its norms after 25 years on television is a good thing. It doesn’t mean we won’t open with a 15-minute promo ever again, but the occasional change is welcome.

Monday, we got something completely different, with cameras racing up to a backstage brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley, which then spilled out onto the stage area. It continued with Rollins tossing Lashley off the stage and then diving onto him.

The mayhem was jarring to open the show, and it set the tone for the next segment, which actually tied everything together nicely…
