5. Grin And ‘Bear’ It

Having suffered through a period when a member of Adam Rose’s entourage who dressed as a bunny was treated as a serious wrestler, it’s understandable that this writer was leery of seeing another costumed wrestler enter the ring, this time in a bear costume.

But given the context of last week’s paranoid Miz debacle, this actually made a bit of sense, and the situation paid off when Miz jumped the bear (his tag team partner in a match against Heath Slater & Rhyno – just go with it), assuming it was Dean Ambrose. It turned out that once again, it was a no-name jobber. But later, the bear re-entered the ring and revealed himself to be Ambrose, having switched places outside the ring.

And in short order, Miz was dropped again by a Dirty Deeds DDT, as Ambrose had pulled one over on Miz again. And in the process, Miz knocked his wife Maryse off the apron, furthering the discontent between the couple.

It’s been a bad week-plus for Miz, despite winning back the Intercontinental Championship. Jumped by a cameraman and now a dancing bear.
