When one of your better positives comes during a PPV pre-show, you know youre in trouble. But during the kickoff, the Miz interviewed Paul Heyman about the number one contenders match and who Brock Lesnar would rather face at WrestleMania. The segment served more as an opportunity for Miz to berate his personal assistant Damien Mizdow, who continued to turn in an outstanding performance without saying a word. Mizdow has been showing more glimmers of individuality (hence the Sandow reference in the title) as he relished getting cheered Sunday. Damien soaked it all in with a smile, knowing full well he was going to be chastised. And Miz deserves credit for playing the bully, making Mizdow first sit in the corner, then making him turn around and face the turnbuckle (asking Youre going to bow up? when Mizdow looked like he was going to refuse). This is all building nicely to a breakup that could give both men momentum. Sure, the blowoff match will probably end up on the WrestleMania pre-show (if it happens next month), but its still one of WWEs better storylines, oddly enough.
