Last week, we got our digs in at WWE’s latest PPV naming kerfuffle, as they decided to add a subtitle to Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.

Then word got out that the name was being changed, which made you think for half a heartbeat that common sense prevailed… until you realized that the new name is simply “The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.”

No, seriously. We’ve reached the point where PPV’s are being renamed two weeks out for God knows what reason. And if anything, this is worse than the original name, as the PPV itself is traditionally called Extreme Rules, but there’s apparently a horror show at it.

Maybe the “audience” will wear monster masks as Vince McMahon tries to cash in on that new-fangled holiday called Halloween. Oh wait, that’s in October? Crap.
