Oh come on.

It’s one thing to say, “We want Braun Strowman to beat up everyone, including those he has no beef with.” It’s another thing to set that up by making someone out to be a total loser in the process.

But that’s exactly what happened with Bobby Roode on Monday night, when Kevin Owens was caught after his victory against Roode by Strowman. Braun was paying Owens back for his attempted attack earlier in the night, and Roode cheered him on – maybe a little too excessively.

Strowman delivered a powerslam to KO while Roode clapped and cheered on the turnbuckle, smiling away and gesturing to the crowd like a fanboy. Braun then goozled Roode and powerslammed him because he was just in the way, leaving both men lying in the ring.

As a result, Roode lost his match, cheered on one of his Money in the Bank opponents like a goof, and got slammed for his troubles.

And WWE wonders why so many of its wrestlers don’t get a great reaction from fans. If you were a new fan, would you cheer a guy like that?
