6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 14th)

5. Waiting On KOMania

It certainly looks like we€™re heading toward a multi-man match for the Intercontinental Championship, with three participants pretty well defined. Monday night, Sami Zayn battled the Miz with Kevin Owens on commentary. During the bout, Miz attacked Owens from behind, so KO distracted Miz, allowing Sami to get the win.

While the idea of not doing a one-on-one match between Zayn and Owens is baffling, at least the build to this match is making a little sense. Owens walked out of Miz in a tag match last week, so Miz clearly was getting revenge there. But KO didn€™t lose a nontitle match to add Miz to the feud, and no one stole the IC title to get a title shot. That in itself is a vast improvement from last year.

And you€™ve got to tip your cap to Owens, who when informed by Byron Saxton that Zayn eliminated him from the Royal Rumble in January, calmly looked at him and said that Byron was €œabout to be eliminated from the commentary table.€

Preach on, KO.
