If you€™re keeping score at home, this was Week #8 that Goldust and R-Truth failed to connect as a tag team. First, Goldust tried to recruit Truth as his partner, but as soon as he gave up the courtship, Truth came around and now is desperately trying to connect with the Golden One.

This week, Truth dressed up a penguin (but not because WWE was in Pittsburgh, home of the NHL Penguins) to try to recruit Goldust, to no avail. This means we€™ll be moving on to a full two months that this storyline between two 40-somethings who are in the twilight of their careers.

Both men deserve a nice ride into the sunset, and truthfully, a good run as a tag team and possibly even a title shot or reign would be a nice sendoff for both. But this foolishness isn€™t doing it. Either form a tag team or don€™t at this point.
