6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 14th)

6. Pedigree > Shotgun Blast

That€™s the only possible explanation for Triple H absorbing multiple high-impact moves (Fameasser, superkick, jumping DDT) and kicking out, only to hit one Pedigree for the win over Dolph Ziggler.

We know that Triple H€™s finishing move is one of the most well-protected maneuvers in WWE €“ it€™s rare that anyone kicks out of it. But when you haven€™t really been on offense for several minutes and have taken a series of hard-hitting moves and near-falls, Triple H€™s one move ending is jarring.

It wasn€™t nearly as bad as WrestleMania XIX with Booker T, but it certainly came out of nowhere. The ending also mirrored the finish against Dean Ambrose at Roadblock: the opponent gets hurt on the outside, barely beats the count back in and lands in the Pedigree seconds later. Boom. Match over.
