6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (June 13)
1. Rollins, Styles Have Very Good Wrestling Match
Put Seth Rollins and AJ Styles in the ring and give them plenty of time, and the result should never be in doubt.
The two had a solid, entertaining qualifying match Monday night for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Both men countered each other’s signature moves, but Rollins exploited an injured leg/knee to eventually reverse a Styles Clash and sunset flip attempt into a pin to earn a spot in the ladder match. If you were looking for good wrestling Monday night, this was your best bet. Good to see that WWE just let them compete.
Rollins is the first to qualify for the men’s MITB, but it’s sure to be a high-profile match. Styles might slip in if they do a last chance qualifier, but that remains to be seen.
