6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (June 13)

5. Cedric’s Burial Continues

MVP Cedric Alexander

Did Cedric Alexander kick Bruce Prichard’s puppy? Or is it that he had too good of a match with Kota Ibushi at the Cruiserweight Classic and thus needs to be taken down a few more pegs?

Alexander’s burial continued Monday night when he lost cleanly to MVP in a match that pretty much should signal the end of any illusion of him ever being pushed in WWE. Cedric managed a bit of offense this time – as opposed to his total squash at Omos’ hands last week – but MVP put him away fairly easily after a brief distraction from the Nigerian Giant.

The worst part is that this was an easy one for Cedric to at least get a win, and it wouldn’t have hurt MVP at all. Instead, we just further devalued a guy who could at least be a decent challenger for a mid-card title.
