Is it just this writer’s imagination, or did Roman Reigns gain weight during the past 30 days? Yes, his beard was different, but he looked like he packed on a few pounds around the midsection.

Whether it was due to weight gain, ring rust or just being out of the groove, Reigns certainly looked at times like he was still getting his feet back under him. He lumbered around the ring, dishing out Superman Punches and powerbombs, and of course took a nap on the collapsed Spanish announce table.

But Reigns didn’t look like himself in the ring Sunday night, looking like he was a half-step behind Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Maybe that’s just a gut feeling that comes after the other two men battled twice on TV last week. Either way, it would be interesting to see if Roman gained any weight during his forced vacation.
