1. The Viking Experience

Quick quiz: Who are the current NXT Tag Team Champions?

Follow-up question: Then who in the hell are the wrestlers who debuted on Raw Monday night?

The genius creative team decided to rename War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) to The Viking Experience (Ivar and Erik) upon their debut. Nevermind that they’re still listed as War Raiders in NXT, or that there was nothing wrong with that name – which itself was a WWE redo of their War Machine name on the independent scene.

You can argue that “War Raiders” wasn’t a great name, but no one can argue that “The Viking Experience” is better. Great team, horrible name.

But again, we’re not one of the 87 brilliant writers paid to come up with “creative” stuff like this.
