6 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Raw Superstar Shakeup

UPS…

6. Lars Dominates Mysterio

When Lars Sullivan was set to debut this winter, it seemed obvious he was going to get a huge push as a dominant monster. But an anxiety attack derailed those plans.

Last week, Sullivan finally took his main roster bow, destroying Kurt Angle and the Hardy Boyz. Monday, that dominance of legends continued, as Lars attacked Rey Mysterio and left him laying with a Freak Accident and sitout powerbomb.

It’s good to see that Sullivan has been able to right himself, and that WWE stood by him, let him get healthy and then seemingly continued with their planned push of him. There was a time if a wrestler had a panic attack, WWE would have ridiculed him and jobbed him out for throwing their plans off.

It remains to be seen if Lars is able to capitalize on this opportunity, but he’s off to a good start.
